A slew of heroin overdoses in South Jersey were reported Tuesday, with at least a dozen victims, a source familiar with the investigation said. No deaths were reported.
Eight victims were reported in Camden, according to the Camden County Police Department. Other victims were found in Berlin and Stratford, officials said. They were taken to Cooper University Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, and Virtua Hospital for treatment, said Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.
In Camden, a peak in calls reporting overdose victims came about 3 p.m.
