Pa. Boys: Thurs. Pa. boys: Rackovan leaves C.B. South for Hill

Dave Rackovan has stepped down as football coach at Central Bucks South after four seasons. He also will resign his position as athletic director at the end of the school year.

Rackovan, who guided the Titans to a 26-18 record, is leaving to become the football coach and director of summer programs at the Hill School in Pottstown.

"With the two jobs at South, there was a constant personal struggle trying to get all the things done that needed to be done in both roles," Rackovan said.

"This will allow me to focus more on football. I'll still be an active part of the Hill community as far as helping the kids out."

In 2012, C.B. South went 10-2, 6-1 in the Suburban One League Continental Conference, and advanced to the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA quarterfinals.
