Neumann-Goretti 2, Penn Charter 1: The Saints rallied for the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh, and then turned to their ace, Pat Doudican, to lock the game down for the save. He retired the side in order with two strikeouts. Tommy Nardini led off the inning for the Saints by getting hit by a pitch. He reached second on a wild pitch and was bunted to third by Nick D'Amore. Nardini scored on an error. Ethan Pritchett earned the win, allowing three hits in six innings.

Perkiomen School 5, Haverford School 0: Levi Stoudt twirled a five-hit shutout for the hosts. He struck out eight and walked one. Stoudt also went 1 for 2 and knocked in two runs. Tom Aaron went 3 for 4 and scored a run.


West Chester East 4, W.C. Henderson 3: Ian Street scored the go-ahead run for the visitors on a ground ball to the second baseman in the sixth inning by Kyle Locke. Culver Hughes struck out nine in seven innings.

Bishop Shanahan 4, Downingtown West 2: Conner Kearns' two-run double in the third inning made the difference for the hosts. Marc Gueriera had two hits and an RBI, and Frank Chubb spun a six-hit shutout.

Downingtown East 13, Avon Grove 0: Dan Gittis struck out nine in five innings, and the visitors rolled. Kyle Ajjan went 3 for 5 with a triple and two RBIs. Nick Amicon singled twice and drove in a run.


Kennett 8, Oxford 0: Joe Zirolli hit a three-run homer over the center-field fence to pace the hosts. Joe Pannell tossed a six-hit shutout. Chris Tucker went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI.

Unionville 3, West Chester Rustin 1: Eric Takoushian cracked a two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the sixth to score the go-ahead runs for the hosts. Two batters earlier, Chris Koehler had tied the score with an RBI single.


Friends' Central 10, Germantown Friends 3: Bryan Rubin pitched a three-hitter for the hosts. He also scored three runs and had an RBI. Ardon Fryer went 2 for 4 with a home run.



Haverford School 10, Episcopal Academy 6: Alex DeMarco made 10 saves, and the hosts scored three times in the fourth quarter to pull away. Forry Smith scored three goals, and Drew Supinski and Don Aitken had two apiece. Aitken and Brandon Shima, who also scored, assisted on two goals apiece.
