The records provide the following account: Brengle met the boy in October 2009, when he would visit the teen's home in Center City daily to tutor him in Latin.
After one session, during which the two spent time alone in the teen's bedroom playing video games, Brengle allegedly began to sexually assault the teen, forcing him to touch his genitals and perform oral sex.
He also allegedly provided the teen with alcohol and the prescription medicine Klonopin, used to treat anxiety disorders. On two occasions, Brengle allegedly performed anal sex on the teen while his parents were out of town, according to court documents.
The victim positively identified Brengle as his abuser during an interview with investigators, records show.
Brengle was arrested Thursday at his office at Harvest Fund Advisors in Wayne by Radnor Township police officers and Philadelphia police detectives.
Brengle was released yesterday after posting 10 percent of his $50,000 bail. He faces a preliminary hearing May 1.
Investigators said they are looking into the possibility of more victims.
