Driving around the city may prove tricky this weekend, with several events requiring road closures, including the Broad Street Run on Sunday.

On Saturday, Walnut Street from Broad Street to 19th Street will be closed for the Rittenhouse Row Festival, which will begin setting up at 3 a.m. and will clear out around 10 p.m. Cross streets will be open except at 18th.

Also on Saturday, Walk MS (multiple sclerosis) will begin to form around 6:30 a.m. at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, proceed north on Martin Luther King Drive around 9 a.m. to Black Road, and then return to the Art Museum. Roads around the Art Museum and Eakins Oval will be partially closed until about 1 p.m.

The Franklin Institute Science Fair will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with street closures beginning at 3 a.m., and extending until about 10 p.m. Motorists are advised to avoid the area around the Franklin Institute during this time.

The South Street Head House District Spring Festival will have this part of the city tied up for most of the day. South Street will be closed from Eighth to Front Streets from about 3 a.m. until 11 p.m. The intersections at Second, Fifth, and Sixth Streets also will be closed.

The Blue Cross Broad Street Run is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Fisher Avenue in the city's Logan section and finish at the Navy Yard. Expect delays along the 10-mile course through the morning and into the afternoon.
