HERE'S A TIP for would-be bandits: Don't let Mom watch footage of you committing the crime.
She's likely to hand you over to police, as one 14-year-old boy learned the hard way yesterday.
Police say the teen, whose name isn't being released because he's a juvenile, was escorted to 19th District headquarters after his mom recognized him terrorizing a Wynnefield beauty-supply store on surveillance-camera footage.
"We definitely say kudos to Mom for doing this," said Lt. John Stanford, a police spokesman. "It can be rough for parents to acknowledge this kind of thing, but it's good to see that they don't tolerate this behavior."
