S. Jersey Boys: Thurs. S.J. boys: Burlington's Jaslow shuts down Florence

Eddie Jaslow finished what he had started when he induced a ground ball back to the mound with the bases loaded Thursday, clinching Burlington City's 3-2 win over visiting Florence in Burlington County Freedom baseball.

Jaslow pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts.

The senior kept Florence off the board until the Flashes score3-d twice in the seventh inning.

Burlington County Liberty. Florida Gulf Coast recruit Ryan Shinn held Burlington Township to one run on two hits in seven innings in Northern Burlington's 4-1 road win.

Shinn struck out 10 and walked one.

Tri-County Royal. TJ Dezzi pitched a one-hitter in Clearview's 2-0 home win against Williamstown.

Tri-County Classic. Andrew Boulden had a bases-clearing double in a 12-run fourth inning and finished with four RBIs in Gloucester's 16-0 home win against Pitman.

Colonial. Carter Fitcher struck out seven and gave up five hits to earn the win in Haddonfield's 3-2 victory against visiting West Deptford.

Tim Brant delivered a key double in a six-run fifth inning that propelled Overbrook to a 9-6 win at Sterling.

Cape-Atlantic American. Monny Strickland doubled twice and knocked in all three runs in Egg Harbor Township's 3-0 win at Hammonton.

Rob Boselli homered to help Holy Spirit pull out a 2-1 win in eight innings at Oakcrest.

Steve Hand had three hits and two RBIs in addition to a winning effort on the mound in Middle Township's 8-3 victory over visiting St. Joseph.

Nonleague. Schalick got on the board, but it couldn't get a hit off Eric Becker in Gloucester Catholic's 6-1 home win.

Becker struck out seven in seven innings.

In other nonleague action:

Matt Lesyk tied the game with a single before Tyler Pagano drove in the winning run in the seventh inning in Kingsway's 5-4 victory at Triton.

Creigh Battle doubled, scored two runs, and knocked in two in Penns Grove's 10-4 home win against Wildwood.

Lacrosse

Christian Snodgrass scored the game-winning goal with 3 minutes, 20 seconds to go to help Moorestown pull out a 6-5 victory against visiting Conestoga in a nonleague game.

In other nonleague play:

Kingsway picked up the 100th win in program history with an 8-4 victory at Woodstown. Sean Dunn, Billy Moran, and Holden Schooley each scored two goals for the Dragons.

Michael Mannino netted five goals to lead Clearview to an 11-7 home win against Eastern.

Colonial Valley Colonial. With six goals, Aaron Bennett was the difference in Rancocas Valley's 11-5 win at Robbinsville.

Tennis

Cliff Christine rallied to beat Nhyko Todd, 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 7-5, in third singles in the final match of 15th seed Lenape's upset win at second-seeded Vineland in the first round of the South Jersey Group 4 playoffs.
