John T. Marsden, 85, of Gloucester City, a member of Teamsters Local 676 in Collingswood for 32 years, died of cancer Thursday, May 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Home in Cherry Hill.

During the Korean conflict, Mr. Marsden was an Army tank driver on stateside duty, daughter Terry Malkowicz said.

He returned to drive for trucking firms in Bellmawr and Pennsauken. He was a longtime member of the American Legion.

Besides his daughter Terry, Mr. Marsden is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean, daughter Connie Roadside, five sisters, two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

A visitation was set from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, before an 11 a.m. funeral service there, with interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
