Casey Kasem found

The Casey Kasem mystery is solved. The ailing radio legend on Thursday was found at a medical facility in Washington State, three days after a Los Angeles judge expressed concern for his safety. Kasem, 82, suffers from a form of dementia called Lewy body disease.

His second wife, Jean, who for years has been in control of his care, reportedly has moved him several times to block access to him by his three children from his first marriage, to Linda Myers, including Casey's radio host daughter Kerri Kasem.

An attorney for Jean told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel S. Murphy that Casey was out of the country. Guess not. Jean's influence may be waning: Kerri has been appointed Casey's temporary conservator.

Jolie wears her mom hat

"I don't want our kids to be actors," Angelina Jolie says - one assumes with steadfast conviction - in a chat with People. But Jolie and mate Brad Pitt's kids Vivienne, Pax, and Zahara appear in Jolie's dark fairy tale Maleficent! Jolie says she used her own kids because they were comfortable around her. Not so other kids: "I would say hello to kids and they would cry," says Jolie.

Wedding tidbits

So what's the deal with the fabled, hyped Jolie-Pitt wedding? "We will get married," Jolie tells People. "We're not really in a rush." . . . Is George Clooney too chubby? Amal Alamuddin thinks so. Life & Style says Clooney's fiancée has put him on a pre-wedding diet. . . . Jeweler Jeffrey Rackover tells Closer Weekly all about the ring he designed for Katie Couric, who next month will wed John Molner. "[It's] a lovely micro-pavé 2-carat diamond wedding band," he says.
