Missing: One flashing speed-radar sign from a Chester County road.
Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police say one of their Safepace 100 Speed Radar signs has been stolen. The sign, which has a digital display showing the speeds of passing cars, was last seen on a sign post at the intersection of Barker Drive and High Meadow Lane between April 22 and April 30.
The signs are not cheap, costing over $2,100, said Lt. William Cahill.
Police don't have any suspects but they have checked Craigslist, local pawn shops, worked with other police departments, and even contacted the manufacturer to see if anyone tried to get the sign repaired.
