According to the Associated Press, the video led some angry fans to post photos of them burning One Direction's concert tickets.
Seriously? Fans are stunned and outraged that 20-something pop stars are smoking weed?
Pulling up steaks
Eva Longoria's female-focused steak house (a catwalk, smaller portion sizes) has closed less than two years after opening in a swanky shopping center at the Aria casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
Officials with parent company Landry's say that SHe by Morton's shut down effective Sunday. Company executives did not immediately return messages seeking further explanation of the closure.
The steak house ran into trouble with health inspectors last month, mostly related to keeping food at proper temperatures and maintaining accurate thermometers. But the eatery quickly reopened with a grade "A" from the health department.
Eva partnered with Morton's to open SHe in late 2012.
* Paul Walker's 15-year-old daughter, Meadow Rain Walker, will live with a nanny and her mother, an attorney told a court commissioner who dismissed guardianship proceedings over the teenager yesterday.
L.A. Superior Court Commissioner David J. Cowan dismissed a guardianship case over Meadow after hearing from Amy Nieman, an attorney he appointed to represent the teenager. Nieman said there was no need for court oversight because there was an adequate plan for Meadow, including help from a close friend of the late actor who has been appointed by another court to make sure that Meadow receives proper care.
Meadow's mother, Rebecca Soteros, has been spending time with her daughter while receiving treatment for alcoholism and is currently sober, Nieman said.
There are "a lot of layers of support for Meadow," she said.
* The Toronto Star reports that LeVar Burton, the former host of "Reading Rainbow," is hoping to revive the show with the help of Kickstarter.
Burton hopes to raise $1 million by July 2.
The funds raised will be used to offer "Reading Rainbow" to any child with access to the Internet (although it would probably be more helpful to children who don't have access to the Internet).
Burton also hopes to create a classroom version for teachers and is heading a nonprofit organization that hopes to provide "Reading Rainbow" to low-income schools.
The award-winning series, which ran from 1983 to 2006, inspired generations of young people to embrace reading, Burton said in his Kickstarter appeal.
* Sometimes the jokes just write themselves.
Fox News Channel has reached into the moral depths of depraved Hollywood for its latest hire. The news network is bringing on actress Stacey Dash as a paid contributor.
Dash is best known for her role in "Clueless."
* Us Weekly reports that Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have ended their marriage, short of their second anniversary.
The couple "decided to separate," a spokesperson told Us in an exclusive statement. "They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."
* Lana Del Rey shot down a perezhilton.com story that she was paid $2.8 million to sing three songs at the recent Kimye wedding.
She told TMZ.com that she didn't get paid anything, which seems about right.
* Here's a protest movement that Tattle can get behind (or in front of).
We had not been aware that this was a problem, but thanks to Scout Willis ( Bruce and Demi's not-so-little girl) and "Extra," we now see the need to offer our support when no support is needed.
A topless Scout walked around Manhattan and posted photos to her Twitter account, criticizing the rigid rules of Instagram.
"Legal in NYC but not on @instagram," Scout tweeted.
"What @instagram won't let you see #FreeTheNipple," she also tweeted.
"My comfort with my body should not be dictated by how others perceive me," Scout said. "However, I don't wish to force this view on anyone. If you don't like what you see, simply unfollow me."
And to you creepy guy crouched behind the fire hydrant, stop following me.
* On the final episode of her reality TV series "True Tori," Tori Spelling revealed that estranged husband Dean McDermott has a tattoo reading "Tori's" above his penis.
Kind of fitting since that wandering penis has given his marriage the shaft.
Actually, it would have been more impressive if he had the word "S-I-N-G" tattooed on his penis and, when he got excited, it became S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G.
