Another marriage bites the dust

Melanie Griffith's fourth marriage is over. Griffith, 56, who was previously married to Don Johnson (twice in two decades) and to Steven Bauer (just the once), is divorcing husband of 18 years, fellow actor Antonio Banderas, 53, TMZ reports.

According to court documents filed Friday, Griffith wants out because of . . . drumroll . . . "irreconcilable differences."

The duo both were married when they fell for each other on the set of Two Much, and they married in May 1996. Their only child, Stella del Carmen Banderas, was born four months later.

They have yet to release a statement.

No more Casper for J-Lo

Casper Smart is out, baby. Out!

Jennifer Lopez, 44, has dispensed with the services of the 27-year-old youngster who was so eager to offer her a friendly shoulder and a warm embrace when her third marriage, to Marc Anthony, fell apart in 2011.

In January, J-Lo admitted Smart was more a placeholder than a potential husband. "I'm one of those people who does not like to be alone," Lopez said at an American Idol press confab. "I have no shame saying that at this point in my life."

Jerry's love poem to Joan Rivers

"If you find it necessary to discuss me, my career, or my kids ever again, I promise you I will get somebody from Chicago to beat your [goldarned] head off." So Jerry Lewis once told Joan Rivers after she lambasted his life. She said he'd have no career save for his telethon. He revealed their feud in a chat on a SiriusXM Town Hall that was set to air Friday.
