"Yes, I did get more screen time as Colossus in this movie and I'm very happy about that," Cudmore said. "I had more memorable moments in this one, I think.
"Of course, I would like to see my character develop a bit more in future films, but that's not up to me."
Cudmore says that he has read source material involving Colossus in order to make sure his portrayal rings true with fans.
"I have researched Colossus by reading the comics and I think he is a great, strong character that I am glad to bring to life," said Cudmore, who adds that the romance between Colossus and Kitty Pryde, only hinted at in the films, is something he would like to see expanded.
"I hope we get to explore their relationship a bit more in the future," he said. "But again, it's out of my control."
Cudmore said that with so many X-films being rumored, he would definitely be up for a "Colossus" spin-off.
"From reading the comics," he said, "I know there is a lot that they can do with the character. I'd be up for it."
As for Cudmore's favorite Colossus moment?
"From reading the comics, I know about the 'fastball special' and its place in the X-Men mythos. That might be my favorite part," he said. "Because, come on, who wouldn't want to throw Hugh Jackman as part of a 'fastball special'? It was really cool."
Cudmore is also known as the Volturi Felix in the "Twilight" films.
"They're both huge franchises and I am happy to be part of both of them," he said. "The one big difference, I think, is that 'X-Men' has a slightly broader demographic."
One wish Cudmore would like to see get fulfilled would be an "X-Men/Avengers" crossover film where he fights the Hulk.
"Oh, wow! I would love that," he said. "You're talking about two powerhouses going at it. That would be something fun."
Who does Cudmore think would win?
"That's tough to say. I love Colossus and he's tough. But the Hulk's the Hulk. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll find out."
