Roger A. Zacharia has been promoted to president and CEO of Ambler Savings Bank and named a member of the bank's board of trustees. He replaces longtime president and CEO Martin R. Brown, who will remain on the board. Zacharia previously was executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Ametek Inc., Berwyn, a maker of electronic instruments, has hired Vincent Misciagna as vice president and general manager, maintenance, repair and overhaul, within Ametek Aerospace & Defense. He had been vice president and general manager of composites AAR Corp.

Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association has appointed Andrew Pecora medical director. Pecora also is owner/president/medical director of Renaissance Men's Health and medical director for CareOne at Moorestown, Sub Acute Rehab.

Stanley Broadbent has joined Pennsylvania Trust, Radnor, as senior vice president. He had been managing director at Glenmede Trust Co.

Tompkins Vist Bank, Wyomissing, has hired Laurie A. Kercher as vice president and relationship manager, commercial lending. She previously was a vice president at Victory Bank.

TD Bank has named Gregory A. Carlisle as senior vice president, regional vice president in commercial banking, based in Turnersville. He had been business banking market manager at HSBC Bank in Pennsylvania.

   Harry Pecci was named assistant vice president, store manager, of a branch in Horsham. He had been a mortgage loan officer at Prosperity Mortgage, Doylestown.

Rite Aid Corp., Camp Hill, has hired Matt Lynch as senior vice president and chief information officer. He had been senior vice president and chief information officer for Dick's Sporting Goods.

National Penn Bancshares Inc., Allentown, has named Katie Schaeffer benefits consultant for Caruso Benefits Group, a division of National Penn Insurance. She had been an investment adviser representative for MetLife-PennWood Financial Group.

Robert R. Pullia has been named vice president and store manager for Republic Bank in Voorhees. He was vice president, business relationship manager, at Sun National Bank.

Checkpoint Systems Inc., Thorofare, which develops supply-chain control systems to stop theft, has hired Uwe Sydon as senior vice president, innovation. He had been vice president of product management for BlackBerry in Canada.

Bryn Mawr Bank Corp., parent of Bryn Mawr Trust Co., has named Francis J. Leto president and chief operating officer of both entities. On Jan. 1, Leto will succeed Ted Peters as CEO of both. Leto managed the wealth-management division of the bank and served as general counsel of the corporation and the bank.

Transwall, a West Chester provider of movable and architectural wall systems, has promoted Marc Valois to principal and equity partner. He has been vice president and sales manager since joining the firm in 2006.

InterDigital Inc., a Wilmington wireless research and development company, has hired Robert Stien, an experienced government-relations professional, as vice president, government relations and regulatory affairs. Stien will establish a company office in Washington and direct a comprehensive government relations, public policy and regulatory affairs strategy for the company. He had been vice president and general counsel for Artemis Strategies.

Binswanger, Philadelphia, has hired Christopher C. Brennan as vice president in its King of Prussia office, responsible for commercial real estate services in suburban Philadelphia. He had been internal adviser consultant and sales representative for the Hartford Mutual Funds.

   In its Philadelphia office, Jesse Gemberling-Johnson and Jason A. Kramer have been hired as vice presidents. Gemberling-Johnson had served as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps stationed in Australia, Afghanistan and Japan. Kramer had been an associate with Blank Rome L.L.P.

Steve Ostopchuck has been hired as director of marine operations at the Spirit of Philadelphia. He previously worked at the Spirit of Baltimore as the associate director of marine operations.

AAMCO, the Horsham-based chain of transmission and car-care specialists, has named Robert Rajkowski chief operating officer and top marketing executive. He had been chief marketing officer and chief operating officer at Heartland Automotive Services.

Purolator International, Jericho, N.Y., has named Patrick Cardinale as strategic account executive responsible for development for the company's Mid-Atlantic Region in Philadelphia. He had been regional sales manager for DHL Same Day at Deutsche Post DHL.

Jeffrey D. Kaiser has joined Spector Gadon & Rosen's real estate department as of counsel. He held the same post at Elliott Greenleaf.

Center School, a Philadelphia-area independent day school for bright students in grades 1-8 who learn differently, has named Mindy Wawrzyniak director of education and Megan Stalker as director of admissions and marketing. Wawrzyniak has been on the faculty of Center School for two years. Stalker had been director of development for SPIN, an organization that provides services and supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
