THE FASTEST character being shown in Cineplexes this summer can't wait to zip into Wizard Con.

"I'm super-excited to come to Philly," said Evan Peters, who has become a household name this summer portraying the mutant speedster Quicksilver in one of the biggest blockbusters of the season, "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"I can't wait to meet fans and hang out," Peters continued. "I think it's going to be loads of fun."

Peters made it clear he also had fun playing the mischievous, super-fast mutant from the 1970s.

"It's a very fun character to play," Peters said, adding that he researched the character just like any fan would.

"I read a lot of the comics that had Quicksilver in them, in order to get into his mind as much as I could."

Whatever Peters did worked, as his Quicksilver had one scene that stole the show in a film that featured the first team-up of two fan-favorite casts, so much so that his was the one character virtually everyone wanted to see more of.

"It feels really good, man," he said. "It feels amazing. One of the best feelings ever that they wanted to see more of my character. That's very cool."

Though rumors have Peters all-but-confirmed to reprise his role in 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse," Peters is playing it coy.

"Am I signed? Yeah. I think so," he said. "We'll see. It's still in the planning stages. So I have no idea."

Though Peters was unsure if there will be a solo "Quicksilver" film in his future, he was sure who would win in a race between his Quicksilver and DC's speedster, the Flash.

"Quicksilver," he said quickly.
