The dance of words

Celebs don't break up anymore. For Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, it was "conscious uncoupling."

Jewel, 40, and rodeo cowboy Ty Murray, 44, on the other hand, are going with "tender undoing."

Sounds much nicer. But no less definitive.

"My husband, friend and partner of 16 years and I have decided to get a divorce," the singer writes on her website.

Jewel assures the couple will remain allies as "we learn to redraw ourselves in whatever new shape we find as separate people."

LiLo sues over vid game

The Grand Theft Auto V vid-game character Lacey Kunis looks an awful lot like Lindsay Lohan. So LiLo thinks, and she's peeved she wasn't asked permission (or offered money for the use of her likeness). The New York Daily News says the onetime movie star is suing the game's maker.

Cannon = Pryor?

Is sweet guy Nick Cannon capable of the epithet-driven, profane intensity of the late, great comic Richard Pryor?

He thinks he is: He tells TMZ he wants to star in The Butler helmer Lee Daniels' Pryor biopic.

"I'm doing the work right now," says Mariah Carey's spouse. "I'm doing everything that I need to do to embody it."

Ryan dissed Rachel

Nick Cassavetes, director of the soul-

sapping, saccharine   romance The Notebook, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the megahit in a peculiar way: He has revealed that the scintillating, cosmic, tear-jerking chemistry between stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams was all smoke and mirrors: They couldn't stand each other.

"I can't do it with her," Ryan told the director in front of 150 people. "I'm just not getting anything from this." Two years after the release, the actors began dating each other.
