Garth's problems

Barely a week after he announced that he plans to make an announcement that he plans to return to showbiz after a 13-year retirement, Garth Brooks is nursing a broken heart. Brooks has scrapped the first step in his comeback master plan, a series of mega-concerts later this month in Dublin, Ireland. Brooks, 52, pulled out of the deal when the city refused to give him permits for two of the five planned shows.

"I cannot begin to tell you how badly my heart is breaking right now," Brooks wrote to the promoter, according to Rolling Stone mag.

Will Dublin survive?

The cancellation has "been a disaster for the city of Dublin," Irish senator Averil Power tells Fox News.
