Tim McGraw justified?
Tim McGraw drew unwanted attention after slapping a woman Sunday at a concert in Atlanta. It happened when the Country Savior walked into the crowd to sing "Truck Yeah."
Fans laid hands on him, and McGraw hit one Jesslyn Taylor. TMZ says her lawyer, Eric Hertz, has contacted the star's people, probably for a bit of cash. Hertz denies rumors McGraw was trying to defend himself when Taylor groped at his nether regions.
Now TMZ has obtained video that shows Taylor slapped the singer's derriere repeated times, even after he tried shooing her away.
McGraw has yet to release a statement.
Is any form of violence justified? An important question we leave for celebs to ponder.
Cruz clarifies anti-Israel statement
An open letter condemning Israel's incursion into the Gaza strip signed by Penélope Cruz, hub Javier Bardem, and director Pedro Almodóvar has drawn so much fire it almost burned down the Web. Cruz on Thursday responded to charges of anti-Semitism. "My only wish . . . [is that] there will be peace in both Israel and Gaza," she said. "I am hopeful all parties can agree to a cease-fire."
