History: Series tied, 5-5. Temple won the last meeting, in 2009 in Annapolis (27-24), after losing in each of the previous four seasons.

About Navy: The Midshipmen lost at home to Top 10 Ohio State, 34-17, after leading by one in the third quarter . . . They're 10-0 at the Linc, with nine of those wins coming against Army . . . Three offensive players that missed the OSU game remain questionable with injuries . . . Junior QB Keenan Reynolds runs the triple option as well as anyone . . . Coach Ken Niumatalolo, in his seventh season, needs one more win to tie Eddie Erdelatz (50) from 1950-58) for second on the program's all-time list . . . The Mids are joining the American next season for football.

About Temple: The Owls opened with a 37-7 win at Vanderbilt . . . They're trying to get to 2-0 for just the third time since 1981 . . . They forced seven turnovers . . . They had three interceptions and three field goals (by two kickers), which matched their 2013 totals . . . They sustained some injuries at wide receiver and safety, where Alex Wells will be out for awhile . . . The Owls are off next week, then host FCS Delaware State.
