Keon Daniel's service on his second corner kick of the 84th minute sailed past every player crowded into the box and bent its way out of bounds before anyone had a chance to grab possession. The front-row fans from the Sons of Ben were closer to the errant kick than any player. Daniel had two chances to tie it up late with corner kicks against Aston Villa, but the English Premier League team thoroughly outplayed the Union early for a 1-0 win on Wednesday night. Fouls dominated much of a match that ended 0-0 and left the United States winless in each of its three international competitions since returning from the World Cup in June.

The million-dollar home of former Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George and his wife, Tamara , will be auctioned off June 7, much to the surprise of the owners. The couple's accountant told The Tennessean in Nashville that the Georges have been trying to modify their loan for seven months, but find themselves in the same situation as many homeowners - stuck with a house no longer worth what was paid for it. The accountant said George is financially stable. The couple bought the home in a Nashville suburb for more than $1.6 million in 2007.
