The best part about minor-league baseball? It's half game, half game center. Minor-league baseball is more than a training ground for future big-leaguers - it's also a great value for families looking for a day or night out. Consider the experience of Timothy Field from Palmer Township, in the Lehigh Valley: He brings his 8-year-old son to games in Allentown when the boy visits during the summer. "I love the time here," Field says, adding that, while attending any sporting event with his son is special, there's something even more special about being together at a baseball game.

1. Reliever Justin Friend was promoted from double-A Reading to triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday, but you have to wonder if he is awake yet to realize it. Friend and his Fightin Phils teammates took a seven-hour bus ride from Portland, Maine, and arrived in Reading around 6 a.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, Friend was told about the promotion and that he had to report to Coca-Cola Park in Allentown for a 10:35 a.m. game. When the IronPigs finished their game with Louisville, Friend and his new teammates got on a bus for a seven-hour ride to Durham, N.C. 2. Double-A Reading had lost nine of its last 10 entering the weekend, and that might not have been the most depressing aspect of the Fightin Phils' plight.

When a fan approaches, the urinal switches into gaming mode. Aiming left or right controls play on the screen. Upon completion (an average of over 50 seconds), users get a score and code to enter.
