GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose tried to explain from the stage of the Electric Factory Monday why the band failed to perform at a December 2002 show at what is now the Wells Fargo Center. When the band failed to come out on stage, a melee ensued with fans throwing chairs and wreaking havoc in the arena. About an hour into his Electric Factory set, Rose told the crowd that he had canceled the morning of the 2002 show because he was sick. "My manager told me he canceled it and then didn't," Rose said before explaining how Clear Channel, the concert promoter now operating as LiveNation "wanted us to f-- up, because they wanted to end the tour.'Cause they had some s-- going on in Florida or something . . . I don't know . . . a whole bunch of bulls--.

She still looks like Winnie Cooper. That's what's so striking about seeing Danica McKellar now. Even at 37, the actress still looks exactly like the ingenue of "The Wonder Years," whom McKellar played for the TV classic's five-year run. Looking at pictures of child actors all grown up is usually an oh-my-god-he-looks-like- that experience. But McKellar retains her cherubic face, amiability and girlish giggle. But McKellar, in town shooting the locally produced movie "Mancation," has long busted notions of ruined lives after childhood stardom.

"NOT TO SOUND too personal, but I've always had small breasts, and now I'm pretty impressed with them," Danica McKellar explained about why she was busting out of a gown she wore for a wedding scene she was shooting Thursday at The Merion in Cinnaminson, N.J., for the indie comedy "Mancation. " McKellar, best known to audiences as Winnie Cooper on ABC's "The Wonder Years," is the mother of a 7-month-old son, Draco , and espoused on the benefits of breast-feeding as we spoke with her before her shoot.

When Joey Fatone isn't onstage at Bally's Atlantic City hosting "The Price Is Right Live!" he is acting in a movie being shot in the region. "It's called 'Mancation,' " said Fatone. "It's about a guy whose wife cheats on him with another woman. I play a character called Brady who is one of [the lead character's] best friends, who takes him on a weekend trip to Atlantic City. " Shooting for the flick, which Fatone said has been described as a cross between "The Hangover" and "Old School," has taken place in, or is scheduled for, Philadelphia, the South Jersey suburbs and Atlantic City.

D ANICA McKELLAR , who remains Winnie Cooper from the "Wonder Years" to a generation, will be here next month shooting "Mancation," which also stars N'SYNC 's Joey Fatone . The movie, from Double Windsor Films, which produced the upcoming "Booted" and "Calendar Girl," is a comedy that takes place over one weekend. It will film in town and in South Jersey from March 30 through April 21. Director Frank Vain is shooting the movie, It features McKellar as the long-lost love of Vince played by Matt Kawczynski , who splits with his wife, played by porn-starlet Bree Olson , who is one of Charlie Sheen 's new girlfriends.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge on Friday ordered accused stalker Livia Bistriceanu , 41, to stay away from Leonardo DiCaprio for three years. The Chicago woman believes that she's the actor's wife and is pregnant with his baby. BRAD PITT got his first up-close look at post-Katrina New Orleans on Friday - anything to get away from those three kids - and used the reconstruction there to promote a competition to choose ecologically sound designs for rebuilding neighborhoods. "There's a big opportunity here," he said, to rebuild the city in an energy-efficient manner that would improve quality of life, particularly for the poor. Global Green USA, a national environmental organization, is working with Pitt on the design project.

When creators/writers/executive producers Neal Marlens and Carol Black set out to cast their comedy series The Wonder Years (Channel 6, Wednesdays at 9 p.m.), they interviewed five casting directors. All five recommended a Chicago youth named Fred Savage for the lead role. "By the time we actually settled on a casting director, we had already resolved that we should see Fred," Marlens recalls. "Knowing nothing about him, we arranged to screen some unedited footage of a film he was making at the time, Vice Versa.
