Eagles rookie Hank Baskett picked the perfect day for a breakout game, making three catches for 112 yards and an 87-yard touchdown in Sunday's 38-24 win over Dallas. Baskett was the biggest surprise of training camp, an undrafted free agent who was traded to the Eagles from the Minnesota Vikings. For the season, he has seven receptions for 172 yards and the TD. This week, the 24-year-old talked about Sunday's effort and how he reached the Eagles' receiving corps rotation. Question: I would think that your first touchdown is one you will always remember.

Hank Baskett showed up at the Eagles training camp yesterday with new digits on his jersey. But as long as he has a number, Baskett is a man with no complaints. Switching from No. 80 to 84, after fellow receiver Jabar Gaffney claimed his original number, the undrafted free agent was a happy - and, more importantly, still employed - man yesterday at the Lehigh camp, where he worked with the first team at times. "As long as I've got a jersey," said Baskett, a 6-foot-4, 220-pounder from the University of New Mexico.

The Eagles' "really, really good receivers" were on display last night at Gillette Stadium. Greg Lewis, Hank Baskett, Jason Avant and DeSean Jackson were all out there, which surely must have been an intimidating sight for New England's defenders and coaching staff. Patriots coach Bill Belichick, a defensive genius with five Super Bowl rings and, according to his former cornerback Asante Samuel, zero personality, must not have slept Thursday night preparing for this cast of high-flying pass catchers.

Philly's own Kendra Wilkinson Baskett is, um, versatile. The former Playfriend, now wife of former Eagles (currently, like all NFL players, unemployed) footballer Hank Baskett , is on Dancing With the Stars , and making the most of it, not by dance but by mouth, telling every woman everywhere to get in touch with her inner stripper. She's also on a newly discovered sex tape. That would be (at least) her second. As the world knows, last year a sex tape surfaced of K-Wilk and former bf Justin Frye . It was later released by our pals at Vivid Entertainment.

What we're talking about following the Eagles' 38-3 victory over St. Louis: --Improving their red-zone offense was high on the Eagles' to-do list heading into this season. Against the Rams, they converted three of four red-zone trips into touchdowns before Andy Reid rested most of his regulars in the fourth quarter. --Middle linebacker Stewart Bradley turned in an impressive performance in just his second NFL start. He had nine tackles, including two for losses, and also had one of the Eagles' four sacks of Marc Bulger.

A weekly look at how the Eagles have fared under coach Andy Reid continues with Week 12, 2006: A 45-21 Sunday-night loss to the Colts was lowlighted by rookie Hank Baskett throwing an interception on a wide receiver option pass and the defense's inability to stop the run. The Eagles fell behind, 21-0, and never were in contention as Joseph Addai ran for four touchdowns and 171 of the Indy's 237 rushing yards. Jeff Garcia was adequate in his first start as Donovan McNabb's injury replacement, but the Eagles still fell to 5-6 on the season.

The Eagles Tuesday signed running back Joique Bell to their 53-man roster. Bell, who was plucked from the Buffalo Bills practice squad, worked out for the Eagles on Monday and then passed a physical. To make room on their roster, the Eagles released wide receiver Hank Baskett. This is the second September in a row that Baskett has been cut by the Eagles. Last year it was so that quarterback Michael Vick, who was serving a two-game suspension, could be added to the roster. Baskett, who is expected to be signed by Minnesota, did not record a catch in the first two games this season.

The Eagles received two seventh-round compensatory picks Friday, giving them 10 selections in next month's NFL draft. Under the rules, a team losing more or better free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. The formula is based on salary, playing time, and postseason honors. Last year, the Eagles lost defensive end Jason Babin and safety Sean Jones to free agency, while they signed defensive back Marlin Jackson, wide receiver Hank Baskett, and running back Mike Bell, who was restricted.

The Eagles have signed wide receiver Riley Cooper, a rangy fifth-round draft pick from Florida. He signed a four-year contract, the team said Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Cooper, listed at 6-foot-3 and 222 pounds, caught attention in May practices with his big frame and strong hands. At Florida, he had 81 receptions for 1,496 yards and 18 touchdowns in 51 games. In 2009, he was named second-team all-Southeastern Conference. He will enter training camp behind DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant but could compete with Hank Baskett for a role as a big target, especially near the end zone.

AFTER THE PHILLIES were busted in 2010 for using binoculars in the bullpen, Jayson Werth dismissed allegations of sign-stealing thus: "All it takes is for you, as a hitter, to be given the wrong sign once. Then, you never take a stolen sign again. " After former Eagles and current Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb crowed on a radio show Tuesday about stealing signals and calling out plays to the defense from the sideline Sunday, Eagles defensive lineman Derek Landri concurred with Werth's logic.

Michael Vick's amazing resurgence reached a significant milestone last night, before the Eagles' quarterback even had a chance to throw a pass against the Minnesota Vikings. Vick, 30, was named the NFC's starting quarterback for next month's Pro Bowl. He was joined by left tackle Jason Peters, cornerback Asante Samuel and kicker David Akers as starters, and by wideout DeSean Jackson, as a reserve. Running back LeSean McCoy showed how much he indeed does resemble Brian Westbrook; McCoy might have as strong a claim to a Pro Bowl berth as any Eagle after Vick, but he is a first alternate, behind Atlanta's Michael Turner, the Vikings' Adrian Peterson and the Rams' Steven Jackson.

If you only take Jerome Harrison's 2009 statistics into account, the Eagles got themselves an 862-yard rusher when they acquired the running back Wednesday. Of course, the Cleveland Browns could also feel good about the running back they received in return. Mike Bell rushed for 654 yards a season ago for the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints. But both Bell and Harrison, for whatever the reason, became marginalized this season and were ineffective in brief action for their respective teams.

"People think reality TV is fake and staged," says Kevin Burns , the man who put Kendra Wilkinson on television. "This is real reality. " Burns is referring to the bombshell twist in the E! series Kendra , which follows the life of the Playmate, who lives in Philly with her football-player husband, Hank Baskett , and their 10-month-old son, Hank IV . The third season of Kendra was running smoothly before last week, when the Eagles cut Baskett, and the Minnesota Vikings signed him. The wide receiver will now trade the couple's Center City high-rise for a Twin Cities hotel for the NFL season.

PORN STAR Devon James isn't giving up her 15 minutes of infamy without a fight. According to RadarOnline.com, the former Tiger Woods mistress is shopping an alleged Tiger sex tape to Vivid Entertainment. "The tape is 62 minutes long and 37 minutes of it is us having sex," Devon told Radar Online yesterday. One can only imagine what scintillating conversation fills up the remaining 25 minutes. "This sex tape is worth at least $350,000," Devon said, although if it's really Tiger, and he's really swinging his driver, that estimate seems a little low. But what about this story isn't a little low?

Brandon Graham was running down a screen (didn't Tom Petty sing about that?) when he landed funny, hitting the ground just under his shoulder and above the back of his ribcage. "It spasmed all my muscles up here," he said, pointing to his upper back and shoulder. Until that moment, in the second half of the Eagles' 35-32 victory at Detroit, it had been a great homecoming for Graham, the Eagles' first-round rookie defensive end. He had notched his first NFL sack early in the game, with friends and family watching.
