WOMEN MAY be making progress knocking their heads against the glass ceiling, but the celluloid ceiling is still causing a problem. Female representation in major-release movies is at its lowest level in five years, according to a study released yesterday by the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and reported by the Los Angeles Times . And that's with "Bridesmaids," "The Hunger Games," the...

DEAR ABBY: I'm a 12-year-old girl and I hope you will print this because it's about something important. I have an iPod Touch. My friends and I wanted to text, so I asked my mom if I could download a program to talk to my friends. She said it was OK. I really like "The Hunger Games," so I went into a "Hunger Games" chat room and started talking with some boys. The next thing I knew there were three men texting me, asking me questions about sex and asking for pictures. (It started with them asking if I was fat, and when I said no, I was asked to send a picture of me in a bathing suit to prove it.)

In a strange about-turn, Wade Robson , 30, a choreographer who spoke up in defense of Michael Jackson during the singer's 2005 sexual-molestation charge, now says he actually was abused by Jackson. Robson's attorney, Henry Gradstein , has asked the judge in the Jackson wrongful-death trial to allow his client to sue the King of Pop's estate for an undisclosed sum. He claims Jackson molested Robson over a seven-year period while the young fan was still a child. Gradstein says Robson finally confronted the fact that he was abused when he suffered a nervous breakdown last year.

Adapted from a recent online discussion. Question: My wife is an avid reader and enjoys a lot of different types of books. Among them are series usually geared toward teenagers, like The Hunger Games or Twilight . Before the premier of the latest movie, she rereads the series and then goes to the midnight showing with a group of girlfriends. I am not talking about teenagers here, or even people in their 20s. We are in our 30s and both professionals. I think my wife's interest in these books and movies is juvenile and I don't really understand it. I feel mildly embarrassed that she can talk (in detail!

AT 34, Katie Holmes already has an old-beyond-her-years edge because of the whole marriage and a kid with Tom Cruise thing. In 2013, we predict Katie will date an age-appropriate actor (as opposed to her 50-year-old ex) looking to up his celeb status. Think Michael Fassbender or Bradley Cooper . Either that, or she'll go the Uma Thurman route, marry a billionaire and slowly fade from public view. * Cruise, on the other hand, will "date" a younger woman, this time less well known than Holmes so as to avoid any embarrassing media snafus when their relationship comes to its inevitable end. In fact, there are already rumors he's hooking up again.

Bee Gees star Robin Gibb's physician confirmed Sunday the singer has advanced colorectal cancer and remains in intensive care after waking from a coma. Andrew Thillainayagam said that when Gibb, 62, weakened by chemotherapy and surgery, contracted pneumonia and fell into a coma last week, he warned Gibb's wife and three children he might not come out of it. But Gibb is now fully conscious and able to speak, though "exhausted, extremely weak, and malnourished," Thillainayagam said.

WHEN TATTLE heard that "Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham made a sex tape with porn star James Deen and then lied about it (pretending that it was a secret sex tape that no one was supposed to see), we thought, what kind of message does lying send to your young daughter? We already know what kind of message the tape sends. But a 21-year-old single mom has to take care of her kid, so Farrah has sold the tape to Vivid Entertainment for an undisclosed amount - rumored to be close to $1 million, but who knows.
