LOS ANGELES - A jury on Monday awarded casino mogul Steve Wynn $20 million in his slander case against "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis, who claimed that the creator of some of Las Vegas' most upscale resorts had threatened to kill him over a gambling debt. In siding with Wynn, the jury determined that there was clear and convincing evidence that Francis had slandered the casino mogul and knew his allegations were false when he made them. Francis has built an empire based on videos of young women flashing their boobs on camera.

JOE FRANCIS IS going wild. Stuck in a leaky, rundown Florida prison for the last 32 days on contempt charges, the entrepreneurial sleazebag who made a fortune persuading drunken college girls to flash their high beams now spends his days cringing at the harsh stares of fellow inmates. And crying. Lots of crying. In fact, sources tell TMZ.com that Francis has cried every single day behind bars. "I don't think I can handle this on a long-term thing - I'm not a criminal," the shackled porn king complained during a psychiatric evaluation ordered by his defense team earlier this month and released on The Smoking Gun yesterday.

Kathleen Parker is a columnist with the Washington Post Writers Group To most adults, the name Joe Francis probably doesn't mean much. But to their teen- and college-age daughters, it means fun and fame. Sorta. Francis is the voyeur-provocateur who has turned a frat boy's fantasy into a multimillion-dollar bonanza with his Girls Gone Wild videos. He and his camera crews scour the haunts of the young and silly - from Spring Break to Mardi Gras - and cajole usually very-drunk girls into baring their breasts.

IS THERE NO honor among oversexed, drunken teenage girls? Ashley Alexandra Dupre (aka Kristen), the call girl linked to former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer is suing "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis for more than $10 million. And to think that when she was a teen looking to catch some rays and an STD during Spring Break, he let her sleep on his bus. And probably shower. What thanks does he get? A lawsuit.
