LOS ANGELES - A paparazzo charged with recklessly pursuing Justin Bieber for photos will challenge the constitutionality of the law targeting aggressive celebrity-hounding tactics, his attorney said Friday. Attorney David Kestenbaum filed a motion asking a judge to declare that the 2010 California statute penalizing those who drive recklessly in pursuit of commercial photos is unconstitutional. The 17-page motion argues that the law used to charge his client, Paul Raef, violates First Amendment protections for the press and is too broad.

Contrary to published reports, the arrival of actress, singer and Justin Bieber squeeze Selena Gomez at King of Prussia Mall won't be until about 6 this evening. What begins at 2 p.m. is the fan event, with makeovers variously described as "mini" and "princess," according to the mall. Starting at 6:30 p.m., she's slated to answer questions from fans for about 45 minutes to an hour. It all takes place in the Pavilion at King of Prussia (not the Court, as also widely misreported)

WE REALIZE Time magazine is simply trying to sell magazines and Tattle appreciates that. Sometimes we try to sell newspapers. But if we gave you a list with the names Jennifer Lawrence , Steven Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis on it, you might guess that it was a list of important figures in movies. If the list had Justin Timberlake , Jay-Z , Beyoncé , Frank Ocean , Christina Aguilera and Justin Bieber 's manager Scooter Braun , you might guess that it was a list of people having an impact on the current music scene.

You could say Leon Purvis is living the Justin Bieber dream: the small-town obscurity, the chutzpah, and eventually maybe even the celebrity. While Bieber's star rose from Canada, Purvis hails from working-class Glassboro, where he has invited the teen pop sensation to join him at the prom June 2. As a "bro," not a boyfriend. "He can bring Selena Gomez," says Purvis, 16, referring to Bieber's singer-actress love. "I'll bring a girl, too, although I don't have a date yet. I just want Justin to have a normal night.

It's made even more spellbinding by the crisp animation used to bring the world to life.

In this, our civilization's winter of discontent, art has become nothing but commerce and commerce the highest form of art. So it is. Just ask Beyoncé . The diva's PR machine has so hyped her upcoming album that fans are desperate for any crumbs of music. She has obliged by releasing a snippet of the new song "Standing on the Sun" in a 90-second video. Mind you, it's not a music video, but a TV ad for H&M. (Fact, it's a double advert: for the retail clothing company, and of course, for B's LP.)

A SEISMIC SHIFT is occurring in the entertainment firmament. Justin Bieber has been booed in London. The Biebs, who's 19 now but sings to a legion of girls just a few years removed from "Sesame Street," apologized Tuesday to his young fans - and their PO'd parents - after they accused him of taking the stage inconsiderately late for a concert. Bieber insisted that he was only 40 minutes behind schedule, and blamed "technical issues," but show time on the ticket for his roughly 90-minute gig was 8:30 (the O2 Arena said that he was due to go on at 9:30)
