Khloe Kardashian has been kashiered, kanned, kicked to the kurb. The producers of Fox's The X Factor announced Monday that they had pink-slipped Khloe as kohost, confirming a rumor that had been noised about for the last two months. "We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors," the official statement bleated politely. No warning about watching out for the screen door. Khloe's cohost Mario Lopez survived to host another day and will be back to welcome viewers to the show's third season in the fall.

So your baby bump is at the six-month mark, and you've got an important luncheon to attend. What to wear? If you're Kate Middleton, our favorite preggers princess, you would probably do long, lacy sleeves on a fitted pastel sheath - belted right above the tummy. On your feet, matching strappy pumps, of course. And no Duchess of Cambridge look is complete without a perfectly perched pillbox. So say the fashion-foreshadowers at Destination Maternity, the Philadelphia-based parent company of A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity.

She stepped delicately, as she does everything, into a waiting car. The couple's office said she would head to Kensington Palace in London to rest.

LONDON - The business of monarchy has always been stacked in favor of men. Not any more - or so the British government promises. The first child of Prince William and his wife, Kate, will be born a king or a queen in waiting, under changes to succession rules designed to overturn centuries of tradition and give royal daughters the same rights as sons. Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg pledged Tuesday that the law on succession would be changed at the "earliest opportunity. " He said "whether the baby is a boy or a girl, they will have an equal claim to the throne.

The court, responding to a complaint by Kate and hub Prince William , ordered the mag on Tuesday to turn over all digital copies of the pics within 24 hours and cease further publication of them. Well, it wasn't hard to see this one coming, given America's love affair with carnivorous corpses. Resident Evil: Retribution , with Milla Jovovich out for her fifth romp as Alice in zombieland, worked its dark magic at the box office over the weekend, raking in $21.1 million in domestic receipts and filleting the sunny Finding Nemo (3-D version), which nevertheless finished second with a not-too-fishy haul of $17.5 million. A box-office exorcism dropped The Possession , which led the movie pack last weekend, to third place, with an estimated $5.8 million.

Royal nudie shots are really proving to be a royal pain. Add Kate Middleton , also known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge , to the ever-growing list of celebrities whose private bits are almost as famous as their public lives. Shortly after photos emerged of Prince Harry partying starkers in a Las Vegas hotel room, the French magazine Closer has published shots of Kate vacationing, royally topless, at a remote Provence villa. Photos of the possible future queen were sprawled across the front cover of the mag, showing Prince William uxoriously rubbing sunscreen on his naked wife.
