FOR MOST couples, regardless of the their stations in life, a marriage is a profoundly life-changing event and, arguably, the most important commitment two people can make to one another. But for The Most Important Couple in the World, it appears marriage is just another marketing trick to ensure the world's attention for another day or two. Although their announced big day is May 24 (in Paris, no less), Kanye West and Kim Kardashian might have already tied the knot. Or, they might not have.

It is an "ethically mined emerald-cut diamond estimated at 7-plus carats and two tapered baguettes set in platinum. " Oh.   Franco and LiLo? Nope James Franco is one of the men named on the infamous list Lindsay Lohan compiled of her former lovers. But Franco never slept with LiLo, he tells Howard Stern . Franco, 36, does admit he hung out with LiLo two years ago "during a very dark period of her history.

A battle over Rooney Celeb deaths these days seem to engender two things: Earnest, tearful, awe-inspiring memorials and nasty legal battles. So it's not surprising to hear that members of Mickey Rooney 's family already are in a pitched battle. However, the fight's not over the late great actor's fortune - but over his body. The New York Daily News says a lawyer from Rooney's estate has asked for an emergency court order barring Janice Rooney , the last of the star's eight wives, from removing his remains from Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

"This is such a dream come true!!!" KK tweeted Friday. The April cover shows her in white wedding gown and 15-carat diamond engagement ring. Her man, Kanye West , stands behind her, holding her in an embrace, his loving arms around her loving waist. She made it! It was even shot by star photog Annie Leibovitz .   Did they beg Wintour?

THE Rolling Stones have called off their tour in Australia and New Zealand following the death of fashion designer L'Wren Scott , Mick Jagger 's longtime girlfriend. Scott was found dead Monday of an apparent suicide in a high-rise apartment building in NYC's upscale Chelsea neighborhood. "The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry and disappointed to announce the postponement of the rest of their 14 ON FIRE tour of Australia and New Zealand following the death of L'Wren Scott," the group said in a statement.

NO ONE ever doubted that NBC's "The Tonight Show" would go big for Jimmy Fallon's first night. But U2-on-the-roof big? That was a cool stunt. Hypothermic even. Fallon was his charming, disarming "Late Night" self in a classy new setting, dancing with Will Smith, schmoozing with Bono. And while I'm still scratching my head over Kim Kardashian's appearance in the parade of celebs, from Robert De Niro to Lady Gaga, paying off a mock bet that Fallon would never host "Tonight," the bit paid off when Fallon's time-slot rival Stephen Colbert hauled in that bucket of pennies to "welcome" him to 11:30.

So claims Anonymous Source , who tells RadarOnline that scenes from the June Paris wedding will be shown on E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians . The best part: E! will pay for the multimillion-dollar sideshow. The source says E!'s offer to pick up the tab clinched the deal for Kanye.

Alex Beggs and Chiara Marinai of the Vanity Fair Daily blog scanned six of the major U.S. celebrity/fashion/tabloid/grocery store checkout-line/geegoo mags - US Weekly, Star, Life & Style, OK!, People, and InTouch. They looked at all the covers, added up all the faces, and now tell us which celeb showed up most in 2013. We'll give you three guesses.
