Raheem Brock, a Temple graduate the Eagles let get away, was arrested Thursday and charged with theft of services and resisting arrest. The 33-year-old defensive end, an NFL free agent, was accused of walking out on a bill at the Copabanana bar on South Street, according to police. Apparently, Brock, another man, and a woman were asked to leave because she brought in food from another restaurant, so they left without paying for already served drinks, police said. A scuffle followed when Brock was questioned soon afterward by police at another South Street eatery, Iskabibble's, police said.

Corey Simon got the two things he wanted: financial security and an outstanding opportunity to return to the Super Bowl. The former Eagles defensive tackle received them yesterday when he agreed to a five-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts. The deal came four days after the Eagles had removed the franchise tag from him, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent. Financial details of the agreement were not immediately available, but Simon was more than satisfied.

A number of people told Raheem Brock he should take his football talents to a college other than Temple. One was his father, Zachary Dixon, who used his Temple career as a springboard to a seven-season career in the NFL. "Oh, my dad had nothing against the football program," Brock said. "He just felt it would be better if I got away from Philadelphia because so much bad stuff seems to happen here. " The arm-twisting - gentle though it was - didn't work. The 6-3, 245-pound Brock, who twice was a first-team Daily News All-City linebacker at Murrell Dobbins, has made an oral commitment to the Owls.

Family members described Gina Clarke-Lewis as the "glue" that held everyone together, but as loved ones gathered to remember the Temple University student yesterday, they thought of one person who couldn't let her go. Her family believed that it was an ex-boyfriend who shot and killed Clarke-Lewis, 27, Friday night outside her apartment at The Landings at Lake Pine, in Lindenwold, Camden County. Authorities said she was arriving home from her job as a waitress at Cibo Bistro and Wine Bar, in Philadelphia International Airport, when she was killed.

The extra young Raheem Brock figured his father was merely his father. He figured every dad had a separate room for trophies and mementoes and could pop NFL game tapes into a VCR and comment, "Now on this play, son, I . . . " Raheem Brock, a 6-3, 235-pound junior, is a blossoming stud at Murrell Dobbins Tech as a tight end, outside linebacker and punter. His father is Temple product Zachary Dixon, who was a running back and return man for the Broncos, Giants, Eagles, Colts and Seahawks in his NFL career (1979-85)
