Kevin Mahar had three hits, including a home run, and drove in four runs to lead the Reading Phillies to an 18-1 rout of the Portland Sea Dogs in the Eastern League last night. Reading starter Yohan Flande allowed only three hits and a run in six innings. Lakewood 3, Hagerstown 2 LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Jim Murphy tripled in a run and scored another in the three-run fifth as the BlueClaws beat the Suns in the South Atlantic League. Rained out. Lehigh Valley's International League game against Scranton was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader tonight at Allentown.

Dominic Brown, who was promoted Saturday by the parent Phillies to double-A Reading from single-A Clearwater, was 2 for 4. Hickory 3, Lakewood 2 LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Miguel Alfonzo scored on a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to lift the Crawdads over the BlueClaws in the South Atlantic League. Lakewood's Korby Mintken was stranded at third in the ninth with the tying run when Anthony Gose struck out. Rochester 4, Lehigh Valley 3 ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Steven Tolleson's single with one out in the bottom of the ninth drove in David Winfree with the winning run in the Red Wings' International League victory over the IronPigs.

Gwinnett 7, Lehigh Valley 2 LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Michael Taylor was 1 for 3 with a walk for the IronPigs who were overwhelmed by the Braves in the International League.

Someone last night described pitcher Kyle Drabek as the "linchpin" in a trade that could possibly bring Toronto Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay to the Phillies. But Drabek said he tried to put that kind of talk aside as he pitched what could be his last game in a Reading Phillies uniform. "You know they are there," Drabek said of the stable of Blue Jays scouts who immediately left the ball park after he was taken out of the game at the end of the seventh inning. Harrisburg 5, Trenton 2 HARRISBURG - Jemel Spearman ripped a two-run homer and finished with four RBIs to lead the Senators past the Thunder in the Eastern League.

Kevin Mahar's two-out home run in the bottom of the 12th inning gave the Reading Phillies a 6-5 win over the Altoona Curve last night in the Eastern League. Quintin Berry's RBI triple in the bottom of the ninth had sent the game to extra innings. Chance Chapman pitched two shutout innings for the win. Norfolk 3, Lehigh Valley 1 ALLENTOWN - Former Phillie Kyle Kendrick pitched nine innings and gave up only two earned runs, but he took the loss as the IronPigs fell to the Tides in the International League.

Phillies lefthanded prospect Yohan Flande experienced trouble in his debut for the Double A Reading Phillies last night against visiting Altoona, but wound up with a no-decision. He pitched six innings; all five runs he allowed (all earned) came in the second, which included a two-out, two-run homer by shortstop Brian Friday. Flande finished with four hits allowed, three walks and four strikeouts, exiting with a 7.50 earned run average. He left with the R-Phils trailing, 5-4, but they tied it in the ninth and won it, 6-5, in the 12th on a solo homer by Kevin Mahar.

Lefthander Joe Savery gave up just one run in 6 2/3 innings and raised his record to 7-1 as the Reading Phillies beat the Trenton Thunder, 4-1, in the Eastern League last night. Savery, the Phillies' No. 1 draft choice in 2007 out of Rice University, struck out five and did not walk a batter. Brian Stavisky homered leading off the fifth inning to provide the winning run. The first baseman was 3 for 5, and third baseman Neil Sellers was 3 for 4 with a homer. Marcos Vechionacci homered off Sellers for Trenton's only run. Hagerstown 3, Lakewood 1 LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Michael Guerrero singled in the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th inning and the Suns went on to beat the BlueClaws in the South Atlantic League.
