They have relocated, but members of the Kixx still are excited about tonight's home opener against the Rockford Rampage at the Liacouras Center. At least the new setting gives the Kixx (1-6) a break from the road and a tough start to the Major Indoor Soccer League season. The team's lone victory was a 20-6 decision over Rockford (4-2). Since then, the Kixx were outscored, 13-59, in three consecutive losses. "Having six games on the road was a big challenge," said Kixx coach Don D'Ambra, whose team had called the soon-to-be demolished Wachovia Spectrum home for 13 seasons.
