Here are my picks to roll, and get rolled, in Week 2 of the 2015 season. Watch 'em roll Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals vs. Chargers. San Diego's secondary gives up plenty of TD passes, so Dalton should have a fine outing in his home opener. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Lions at Vikings. We expected Abdullah to overtake Joique Bell at some point this season, but not quite this quickly. Against the defense that just made Carlos Hyde the darling of fantasy football, Abdullah is a must-start.

YESTERDAY, Delisa Lynch channeled her inner Donald Trump, writing that Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell should be fired. The mother of Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch made her feelings known on Facebook after Sunday's game in which the Rams stopped her son on fourth-and-1 at the St. Louis 43 to seal a 34-31 win over the Seahawks. The play caused Delisa to flash back to last season's Super Bowl, when her son was denied a similar opportunity. On second-and-1 from the Patriots' 1-yard line, the Seahawks elected to have Russell Wilson throw to Ricardo Lockette, even though Lynch had rumbled for 4 yards on the previous play.

WE HAVE heard from Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie only once since the final game of the 2014 season, and that was on the lawn of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel way back during the owners' meetings in March. Lurie talked about several things that day, but his overall theme was that you have to take risks to go from good to great, that this was the impetus not only for the Eagles' offseason roster shakeup, but for his moving of former general manager Howie Roseman out of football operations in favor of giving coach Chip Kelly complete personnel control.

Mrs. Clooney makes the list According to an ancient prophecy, a sartorially advanced being will save the earth someday. That's why it's so important to keep up with Vanity Fair's annual International Best-Dressed List. The women's list is topped this year by one Samantha Cameron , described by the mag as "First Lady, U.K.; creative consultant for Smythson. " The top 10 includes popster Taylor Swift (No. 2), Prince Edward 's wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex (No. 4)

Avoiding sex? Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson , who abstained from handing the ball to powerhouse running back Marshawn Lynch at the end of his team's Super Bowl loss in February, is also abstaining from something equally difficult to understand: Sex with his girlfriend Ciara . According to q13fox.com, Wilson joined The Rock Church's Miles McPherson Sunday to talk about his relationship with God,...

DREXEL SENIOR Damion Lee will graduate in a few months, which, in today's college basketball world, essentially makes him a free agent. Lee, who took a medical redshirt in 2013-14 after tearing an ACL in Drexel's fifth game and has 1 year of eligibility remaining, told coach Bruiser Flint over the weekend that he plans to play his final season at another school. "What are you going to do?" Flint said. "That's what he said he wants to do, so that's what he's doing. " It is essentially what Temple's Anthony Lee did last year.

Nationals ace Stephen Strasburg, who has been supplanted by 2013 AL Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer as Washington's opening-day starter, is now looking at starting Game 3. That would be April 9, in a likely showdown with Mets ace Matt Harvey, who was bypassed as his team's opening-day starter in favor of Bartolo Colon. Scherzer will be followed in the Nats rotation by Jordan Zimmerman, Strasburg, Gio Gonzalez, and Doug Fister. More Game 1 starters Padres newcomer James Shields has been picked to start on opening day, manager Bud Black announced Saturday.

FOR ONE SEAHAWKS fan, Pete Carroll's call that led to Russell Wilson throwing an interception in the end zone with 20 seconds left in Super Bowl 49 was a matter of life and death. At least that's what the obituary of 53-year-old Mike Vedvik said. The obit, which appeared in the Spokesman-Review newspaper in Spokane, Wash., was written in part by one of Mike's sisters. It gave all the obligatory "survived by" information before revealing an unusual cause of death. "We blame the Seahawks lousy play call for Mike's untimely demise," it read.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Love them or loathe them, the rowdy Seahawks will have first dibs on the NFC title for the foreseeable future. Yes, the Seahawks who started a fight during New England's victory formation at the end of the Super Bowl. Yes, the Seahawks who took two penalties at the game's end, and led the league in penalties this season. Yes, the disrespectful, disrespected Seahawks, whose bunker mentality and persecution complex make them a dangerous cell of football fanatics.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Within seconds after Malcolm Butler intercepted Russell Wilson with 20 seconds left in Super Bowl XLIX, many were calling the Seahawks' decision to throw on second and goal at the 1-yard line, rather than running the ball, the worst play call in NFL history. That's a lot of football to cover, but one thing is for certain: With the NFL's popularity at an all-time high - as evidenced by Sunday night's game being the most viewed Super Bowl ever - Seattle's decision to pass rather than handoff to bulldozing running back Marshawn Lynch will be the most discussed play call ever.
