Sheldon Stephens , the first of four men who accused former Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash of molesting him when he was underage, alleges in a new lawsuit that Clash, 52, indulged in an orgiastic intake of crystal meth and "poppers" before having sex with Stephens, then 16. The suit, filed by the Harrisburg resident in U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania, says Clash promised the young would-be actor he'd help advance his career. Clash lawyer Michael Berger calls the suit meritless.

Michael Jackson not the dad? Claims that Michael Jackson fathered a 31-year-old man named Brandon Howard are untrue, says TMZ. This week, Alki David , founder of FilmOn.com, said he had obtained DNA evidence that proved MJ's paternity. Turns out the lab that supposedly carried out the test is fake. The results are printed on paper that bears the same company logo as the fictional DNA testing lab in the sci-fi pic Terminator Salvation ! David on Friday told TMZ the test is real, and he said the lab added the logo design to make their printouts more photogenic.

Wednesday night's Q102 Jingle Ball at the Wells Fargo Center was a not-so-well-oiled machine of back-to-back mini-sets showcasing musical acts, most not well known, performing their radio hits live. Ten solo artists, a duo, and an Australian mall-punk band took the stage, gyrated a bit, performed two to four songs, said, "God Bless," and exited. Within minutes, the stage rotated 180 degrees to reveal the next act. The crowd treated each set as a break from taking selfies with their friends.

EVERY TIME TV news jumps on a fast-breaking story, you need to remember one thing: The first reports are almost always wrong. This never was a problem in entertainment reporting because no one cared if they were a few minutes late with a celebrity story. Now it's a problem. Yesterday, following the DUI arrest of Amanda Bynes , the first reports said sources were claiming she was high on weed. Now it turns out she may have been high on Adderall or some other prescribed drug.

THE FOLKS at Disney seem to be paying attention to those diversity memos. With featured roles this fall for a chess-playing Ugandan girl and almost her entire village ( Queen of Katwe ) and a Polynesian princess ( Moana ), with Black Panther soon to start shooting, the Mouse House is getting more colorful both in front of and behind the camera. Now word came yesterday from Deadline.com that the studio and director Ava DuVernay ( Selma ) have cast 13-year-old Storm Reid ( 12 Years A Slave )

There's a scene in a film class in Scream 2 where the college kids (Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joshua Jackson, practically AARP members now!) start arguing over sequels. As in, name one that's better than the original. Aliens, T-2 , just about every title gets shot down. Finally, a student says he's got one: The Godfather: Part II. Well, add Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising to that rarefied list. Taking off from the 2014 goofball original - about a couple terrorized by the frat brothers next door - Neighbors 2 brings back most of the principals from the first movie, and then amps up the conflict by introducing a renegade band of college sisters.

"GETAWAY" takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria, where apparently life is cheap, and automobiles even cheaper. The filmmakers crash a couple hundred cars to tell the story of a former race car driver (Ethan Hawke) blackmailed into driving a hot rod around the city, leading police on a wild Mustang chase. The movie has the happily idiotic plot of a summer B movie. And if "Getaway" had been satisfied to wow us with its prodigiously high auto body count, surely a modern record, that would have been fine.
