ENDING WEEKS OF SPECULATION and catty comments about how thin she's gotten, Demi Moore, 49, told the Associated Press yesterday that she is ending her marriage to 33-year-old Ashton Kutcher. The couple wed in September 2005. "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," she said in a statement.

A 20-YEAR-OLD WOMAN struck hard with Justin Bieber fever has filed a paternity suit against the teen heartthrob, claiming he lost his virginity to her backstage at a concert and fathered her now-4-month-old boy, Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater . The suit seeks financial support. But keep cool, Bieber fanatics, this is not just another example of a cheating dog of a man-boy. The suit says this all happened before Bieber's main squeeze, Selena Gomez , was in the picture.

To paraphrase F. Scott Fitzgerald , a genius is someone who can hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time, who can flourish even when in the grips of paradox. Thus, we present the paradoxical title of a new celeb memoir, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story . It can't be believed yet it's true! Such is the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger , who will release his memoirs next year. Anonymous Source tells People the tome is sadly only a selective, tell-some-but-not-all confession.

Hazel Day fidgeted with her iPhone. She was remarkably quiet. If an out-of-body experience had a look , the Mount Airy teen had it in spades. No wonder: She was about to meet Selena Gomez face-to-face, one-on-one, in person and in private. Gomez, perhaps best known for her Disney TV show, Wizards of Waverly Place , was in town on a sunny Friday morning to introduce her affordable fashion line, Dream Out Loud, with a meet and greet at the Center City Kmart before taking the stage for her evening show at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts.

EVEN SCOTTISH zombies read the Daily News . A People's Paper newspaper box is one of the Philadelphia props in "World War Z," the Brad Pitt zombie thriller that is now filming in Glasgow, Scotland. "World War Z" is based on a book set in Philadelphia that centers on a zombie apocalypse. The movie was considering shooting here, which also helped fuel the rumor that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are buying a house in, and/or moving to, Blue Bell that we told you about in June.

SPECIAL BINGO CLUB Bingo brings to mind images of blue-haired, chain-smoking grannies sitting in front of a table full of cards. That is not what you will find at Underground Rebel Bingo. Founded in a London church basement in 2008, Underground Rebel Bingo takes the classic game and turns the party dial up to high, so that it resembles a rave - dancing, music and performances are all part of the package. And what really makes it hip is that not just anyone can show up. Taking some Fight Club cues (the first rule of Underground Rebel Bingo is that you don't talk about Underground Rebel Bingo . . . )

Alec Baldwin isn't running for mayor of New York City, but he might , which is cool and deserves a big headline. The 30 Rock star tells the New York Times he's not a fan of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg . That billionaire guy, he says, isn't hip to the city's needs. Sure, Alec's also rich, but he says he's down with the peeps, having moved to the Upper West Side. "It is more real" there, he says. "There's old people, it's ethnic, and it's economically mixed. It's not a little . . . privileged pocket of the city.

POP STAR AND ACTRESS Selena Gomez joined "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia yesterday morning for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Voice, the multimedia center for patients that Seacrest's charitable foundation provided, reports Daily News columnist Dan Gross. The Daily News reported Thursday that Seacrest would be at CHOP yesterday, and Seacrest tweeted yesterday morning that Gomez would be a surprise guest. Once word spread about Gomez, rumors swirled that her boyfriend, Justin Bieber , would also attend the ceremony but, alas, it was not meant to be. Seacrest's girlfriend Julianne Hough , an actress and singer and former "Dancing with the Stars" pro, accompanied him to the event but stayed low-key.
