TRIPOLI, Libya - Libya's prime minister warned of a perilous security situation Sunday after armed men stormed the Interior Ministry and a state-owned television station after blocking access to the Foreign Ministry. Two years after the country's civil war, Libya is struggling to maintain security, build a unified army and rein in militias, which include rebels who fought to oust longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi in 2011. About 200 armed men surrounded the Foreign Ministry building in Tripoli, demanding the ministry hire former fighters who helped overthrow Gadhafi.

BAGHDAD - Security forces stormed a Sunni protest camp in northern Iraq on Tuesday, sparking deadly clashes in several towns and sharply intensifying rage at the Shiite-led government. The unrest and a spate of other attacks, mostly targeting Sunni mosques, killed at least 56 people. The violence could mark an ominous turning point in the four-month Sunni protest movement, which is posing a stubborn challenge to Iraq's stability a decade after the toppling of Saddam Hussein. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks on three Sunni mosques, and it was unclear whether there was any connection to the storming of the protest camp.

Alex Campbell drove in the game's first run with a single. He drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly. But the Moorestown catcher's biggest contribution to his team's rousing, 6-4 victory over previously undefeated Rancocas Valley on Tuesday was a diving defensive play. Campbell scrambled to gather an errant pitch, then dived to tag out a runner at the plate for the key out in the seventh inning of a wild Burlco Liberty baseball game at the Red Devils' athletic complex in Eastampton.

The assault was the most serious in Mogadishu since al-Shabab was forced out of the capital in August 2011.

From Mathew Brady's 1862 photo exhibit of "The Dead of Antietam" to the cameras that brought Vietnam into American living rooms, graphic journalism has exercised unique power to open minds and hence shape history. It may do so Tuesday when PBS broadcasts The Central Park Five , a meticulous narrative of a gross miscarriage of justice. There were abundant dystopian aspects of New York City in the 1980s, when crime, crack, and AIDS produced a perfect storm of anxiety about the fraying social fabric.

BEFORE THE RAIN delay in the bottom of the fourth inning, Kyle Kendrick labored. After the 27-minute stoppage in play was over, Kendrick moved slower than the line at your local DMV. Kendrick worked his way in and out of jams, watched the Mets foul off one pitch after another and took his time getting himself collected before just about every pitch he threw on Wednesday night. Kendrick's second start of the season wasn't pretty. But when you looked up at the end of it, it was effective, a 7-3 win over the Mets.
