The website SeekingArrangement.com said today that Temple University is one of the top schools where students seek "sugar daddies" online to fund their education. The website said that, nationally, it saw a 58 percent growth last year in female students trying to connect with men who will help pay their tuition. It said that 268 female students from Temple had sought such arrangements in 2012. Given that Temple has more than 27,000 undergraduates, however, the figure represents less than one percent of the population.

NEW ORLEANS - Terell Floyd returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the game, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater directed four more scoring drives, and No. 22 Louisville recorded a convincing 33-23 upset win over heavily favored No. 4 Florida in the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday night. Shaking off an early hit that flattened him and knocked off his helmet, Bridgewater was 20 of 32 passing for 266 yards and two touchdowns. Among his throws was a pinpoint, 15-yard toss in the second quarter that DeVante Parker acrobatically grabbed as he touched one foot down in the corner of the end zone.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Sugar Ray Leonard still hasn't told his parents or his 11-year-old son, and Monday was just the second time that he spoke publicly about being sexually abused as an adolescent. He had not written a speech, and he momentarily grasped for words. During a 30-minute talk before a room full of experts and advocates, however, the boxing legend moved quickly from uncertainty to clarity - "I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse" - and then a declaration that surprised even organizers of the Pennsylvania State University conference.

WILMINGTON - If Philadelphia has a second casino built, SugarHouse Casino could see its revenue drop by 24 percent, a gaming consultant testified in Chancery Court on Thursday. Because of shifts in the competitive local market for gaming, the owners of SugarHouse would be prudent to scale back their expansion plans, said Steven Rittvo, president of Innovation Group, a casino advisory firm. In 2009, when SugarHouse broke ground on Delaware Avenue in Fishtown, the goal was to have expanded the size and scope of the casino by now, including doubling the number of slots to 3,000 and adding a 10-story parking garage.

A criminal team that targets SugarHouse Casino patrons who have a lot of cash and robs them when they arrive home has made off with about $44,500 from five stickups, police said Friday. The bandits could be responsible for at least five additional robberies, said Capt. Jack McGinnis, commander of Northwest Detectives. In all but one of the 10 cases, the victims were Asian, he said at a news conference at Police Headquarters. SugarHouse on Friday announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the bandits.
