Khloe Kardashian has been kashiered, kanned, kicked to the kurb. The producers of Fox's The X Factor announced Monday that they had pink-slipped Khloe as kohost, confirming a rumor that had been noised about for the last two months. "We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors," the official statement bleated politely. No warning about watching out for the screen door. Khloe's cohost Mario Lopez survived to host another day and will be back to welcome viewers to the show's third season in the fall.

Weiland's drug abuse Scott Weiland 's ex-wife, in an open letter in Rolling Stone, bemoans the late musician's chronic substance abuse. The cause of the rocker's death has yet to be determined, but cocaine was discovered in the tour bus where he died last week at age 48. "Dec. 3, 2015, is not the day [he] died," writes Mary Forsberg Weiland , who has two kids with Weiland: Noah , 15, and Lucy , 13. "The truth is, like so many other kids, they lost their father years ago. " Kimye baby update In a shocking report, TMZ says Kim Kardashian did not have the birth of baby boy Saint filmed for use in her reality show.

Athletes and Twitter. It's a train wreck waiting to happen. For some reason, sports professionals, both men and women, turn into twits when they tweet. The latest example is ex-NBA star Steve Francis who - according to a police report obtained by TMZ - allegedly groped 20-year-old Shauna Simien in Texas in May of 2010. The police report indicated that Simien filed a complaint immediately after the alleged incident. The woman told TMZ that she is a singer who had signed with Francis' record label and was meeting with him on the day of the alleged assault.

Former 76ers star Allen Iverson has lost his $4.5 million Atlanta mansion to foreclosure, according to TMZ. The gossip website says Iverson allegedly defaulted on a $1.2 million mortgage and tried to prevent an auction but failed. Iverson sold his six-bedroom Gladwyne mansion for $2.6 million in 2010. The Denver Post reported in 2011 that his Colorado home went into foreclosure after he stopped paying the mortgage while owing well over $2 million. The 38-year-old Iverson, who last week declined an offer from the D-League Texas Legends, reportedly has a trust fund worth $32 million that he is prohibited from touching until he turns 55 and draws a $1 million yearly stipend.

Prince case: Drugs found ABC, NBC, and CBS report that prescription painkillers were found in Prince 's house after his death. The Carver County (Minn.) Sheriff's Office has asked the DEA to look into the pills' origins. Prince previously battled addiction to narcotic painkillers. And according to TMZ, the drugs were a factor in his life as late as April 15, when the singer was rushed to an Illinois hospital after an apparent overdose. So, did drugs play a role in Prince's death last week?

Young star Demi Lovato rewarded the fam with a new home to celebrate her 18th birthday. "I just bought a house," the actress and singer/songwriter informs People mag. "For me to give [that] to my family on my birthday, that was the best present. " The Mediterranean-style dwelling is outside L.A. Demi says she plans to live there.

WE DON'T KNOW if Kobe Bryant uttered the traditional words "for better or worse," when he wed soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa. But if so, he couldn't have imagined "worse" could be this bad. According to the Los Angeles Times, Vanessa Bryant - who filed for divorce from the former Lower Merion star last month - just received three mansions worth more than $18 million as part of a pending settlement. The Times cited experts as saying that's only a small portion of the $75 million - not counting spousal and child support - she is expected to receive when the divorce is final.

LONDON - Brace yourself, Harry. A prominent British public relations man says he has been approached by two women who claim to have more material on Prince Harry, raising the possibility that the world may soon be seeing more compromising images. Last week, the celebrity gossip website TMZ published photos of Harry romping in the nude during a party at his Las Vegas hotel suite. Many Britons have laughed off the 27-year-old prince's high jinks, but questions have been raised about his publicly funded security detail.

Rege returning, Dave his guest Regis Philbin, six weeks removed from triple heart-bypass surgery, plans to be back at work Thursday morning as cohost of Live With Regis and Kelly. Philbin's first guest will be David Letterman, also a veteran of bypass surgery. "Very appropriate," Philbin's cohost, Kelly Ripa, said as she announced her partner's return yesterday. Philbin, 75, filled in as a guest host on CBS's Late Show after Letterman had his bypass operation in 2000.
