Brad Pitt's soon-to-be father-in-law, Jon Voight, 73, really digs the politics of Brad's mom, Jane Pitt. She's a conservative — very much unlike her son, who once told the media he wouldn't marry Voight's daughter, Angelina Jolie, until same-sex marriage was legal. Angie's dad, also a conservative, says he applauds Jane's courage for speaking up against gay marriage. "Good for her!" Voight tells FOX411's Pop Tarts column in support of Jane, who has been inundated with hate mail since she wrote a letter to her local newspaper denouncing President Obama, whom she characterized as "a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.

We celebrated it as a union blessed by the celebrity gods. How wrong we were. "There were people who were genuinely upset that what they thought was perfect was no longer," says Seal, 49, expressing our pain over the breakup of his marriage to Heidi Klum. "I'm in an excellent place right now. In a situation like this, your priority is the children," Seal tells USA Today, referring to the couple's four children, who range from 2 to 8 years old. "As long as the children are happy, I'm happy.

These are strange times indeed, folks, in the celebrity game. The worst publicity has now become the best kind of publicity you can get. Every time this month, for instance, that TMZ sent out a new gossip bulletin on Lindsay Lohan was a red-letter day for Lifetime. It represented another quarter-million viewers for the Liz Taylor biopic Lohan is currently shooting for the channel. Or take Charlie Sheen. After one of the most depraved runs of misbehavior by a major performer ever, he returns in a new sitcom to rapt curiosity and surprising good will.

Producers of Daniel Craig's James Bondfilm Skyfall have committed the greatest outrage since the execution of Joan of Arc: They've sold out Bond to a beer brand. TMZ says in exchange for $45 mil, Bond will drink Heineken instead of his trademark vodka-martini-shaken-not-stirred. Bond films have plugged brands before, but this strikes at the heart of the James-Bond-ness of Bond. Craig, 44, recently told the New York Times that product placement is part of the Hollywood process: "We have relationships with a number of companies.

Donna Summer's family says the singer died of lung cancer even though she wasn't a smoker. TMZ says the diva believed she contracted the disease by breathing in toxic air after the Sept. 11 attacks in New York. Summer, who died Thursday at 63 in Naples, Fla., lived near ground zero. Summer's family rep, Brian Edwards, also said on Friday that the singer's funeral would be private and declined to disclose a time or place for the event.
