AT BRYN MAWR College, Hell Week is "a week of fun and bonding between freshwomen and upperclasswomen," according to the school's website. So, when Michele Rasmussen, dean of the school's undergraduate college, discovered that students of the Radnor dorm were forced to participate in such acts as swearing alliance to a keg and being made to "listen to the Radnor goddess speech" during Hell Week, she was having none of it. NORTHERN IOWA receiver Terrell Sinkfield participated in a pro day Monday at the University of Minnesota. Sinkfield proved he can run fast. The question is, how fast? FoxSportsNorth.com reported that Sinkfield ran the 40-yard dash, his second attempt, in 4.19 seconds, and it was so fast, he was asked to run a third time. Sinkfield reportedly stumbled on the third attempt but still ran a 4.44. "I knew it was good when I finished," Sinkfield told the website, referring to his faster time.

After practice, Eagles defensive tackle Ronnie Cameron often sits hunched over in his locker with his laptop. Often, one or two of his teammates will ask him what he is doing. Many use their time after workouts to hang out with their families or play video games. Cameron, 6-foot-2, 295 pounds, started a website. Cameron was acquired as a free agent by the Eagles in December and joined the practice squad. He was originally signed in April as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Bears.

But one thing was clear: The rapper, although not believed to be a target in the shooting, is no angel. SHILLINGTON, Pa. - The ACLU accused a Berks County school district Wednesday of blocking Internet content about gay people. The American Civil Liberties Union said Governor Mifflin School District's filtering software blocked sites that a student tried to access for research. That violates students' free-speech rights, the ACLU contends. The ACLU has sent a letter to Governor Mifflin asking that it reconfigure the software. A district spokeswoman did not return a message seeking comment.

On Friday, when Philadelphia begins mailing out the results of the citywide reassessment, much of the speculation surrounding Mayor Nutter's property-tax reform will give way to hard analysis of actual numbers. Nutter is planning a morning news conference to discuss the Actual Value Initiative (AVI), after which most new assessments are to be posted to the Office of Property Assessment's website. All of the data should be available by early next week. Owners should be able to use the website to learn what the city estimates their homes and other properties are worth, and begin to see how their 2014 tax bills will change.

SOMETIMES ADS hit too close to home. A case in point is a Nike ad featuring Oscar Pistorius, the double-amputee sprinter better known as "Blade Runner because of his prosthetic legs. He was charged with murder on Thursday after allegedly shooting his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, to death. Prior to the incident, Nike had an ad on Pistorius' website featuring a series of photos of the runner in freeze-frame motion. In retrospect, the words that accompanied it are chilling: "I AM THE BULLET IN THE CHAMBER" Nike promptly pulled the ad.   Wherefore art thou?

After a year in the love business, a website has found that people - especially men - are willing to pay for first dates. Without any sex being promised. WhatsYourPrice.com sounds like something William Shatner pitches, but it was set up by the founder of SeekingArrangement.com - "the world's largest Sugar Daddy site" - and works as an auction service involving short-term romance.
