Paul VI baseball coach Pat Fisher called Dom Bisirri a "hometown kid" on Saturday afternoon. And the West Deptford native had quite a homecoming as he jump-started Paul VI's four-run seventh before pitching the bottom half of the inning to help the Eagles top host West Deptford, 6-4, in a nonleague game. Bisirri, a lefthander, reached on a leadoff single before scoring to bring Paul VI within a run. Junior catcher Devin Ruiz delivered the definitive blow later in the seventh with a two-run, one-out double to right-center.

Attack: Mike Handlan, Moorestown, Jr. Handlan recorded 44 goals and 31 assists as a sophomore. Look for this University of Delaware recruit to become one of the state's elite offensive players this season. Attack: Reed Hoffman, Lenape, Sr. Hoffman enters the season with 113 goals. He leads a balanced Lenape team that should improve on last year's 11-8 overall record. Attack: Mike Reardon, West Deptford, Sr. Reardon led West Deptford with 55 goals and 20 assists in 2012.

The Inquirer TOP 10 PRESEASON BOYS' LACROSSE Last year's records in parentheses. 1. St. Augustine (13-6). The Hermits graduated a strong senior class, including Inquirer Player of the Year Steve Pontrello. But St. Augustine is one of the deepest and most solid programs in New Jersey. The Hermits return a highly talented team, including nine players committed to Division I colleges, and should be in the mix again for a state title. 2. Moorestown (12-5). The Quakers' balance should again land them in the top tier of teams in the state.
