The Soul are expected to sign kicker Fabrizio Scaccia on Wednesday to fill the void left when Remy Hamilton was injured last week. Scaccia kicked for runner-up Arizona last year. His brother, Massimo, spent time with the Soul in 2011. Hamilton's injury forced the Soul to use wide receiver Emery Sammons and defensive back LaRico Stevenson to handle kickoffs. In other news, Soul kick returner/wide receiver Jeff Hughley was named to the AFL's all-Ironman team. It's the third consecutive nod for Hughley, who is in his first season with the Soul.

Nothing from his freshman season suggested that Brandon Rembert would have a chance at becoming the all-time leading basketball scorer at Pennsauken Tech. As a freshman point guard, he averaged 5.4 points. But Rembert, now a 5-foot-10 senior, had a quiet confidence that the bigger scoring days would come. "I was a passer, getting the older players involved," he said. "I felt if I could keep working that I would be a scorer. " Since then, he has surely worked - and scored points.

THE MICHIGAN-Ohio State rivalry is so huge and such a deep part of the fabric in that part of the Midwest that HBO made a documentary about it a few years ago, and a pretty good one at that. Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham, a first-round pick out of Michigan last year, played in three of those games and watched another as a freshman reserve. But now that he is in the NFL - and experiencing Eagles-Dallas week for the third time - how do the two rivalries compare? "It's like Michigan-Ohio State times 10," said Graham, a Detroit native.

Arizona signed first-round draft pick Michael Floyd of Notre Dame to a five-year contract, the team said Monday. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound wide receiver was the 13th overall pick in the draft after setting school records in receptions (271), yards receiving (3,686) and touchdowns (37) in 43 games with the Irish. 'Cinco to Miami Chad Ochocinco signed with Miami just four days after being released by New England.
